Crip Gangs: 46 NHC Crips

46 NeighborHood Crips [46NHC / 4-Sixx / Foe-Sixx / FSC] is a gang located in the area of 46th Street & Western Avenue in Los Angeles. They started in the early 1980s as the 46th Street Hustlers and turned Neighborhood Crips in the mid 1980s. They are close allies with most NHC sets, especially the Rollin 40s, 55 NHC and 48 NHC.

Famous 46 Crips

In 1993, 26 year old Clarence “Hotdog” Watson from 46 NHC was being foot pursued by LAPD officers. Hot Dog was running near an alley by 45th Street & St. Andrews when LAPD shot him two times, knocking him to the ground. LAPD continued to shoot him three more times in the bacc while he was on the ground, with one bullet lodging in his spine and putting him in a wheelchair. Hot Dog sued the LAPD, and in 1996 he won $3.5 million, one of the largest awards in LA history. In 2000, Hot Dog was fatally shot at 8324 Wilshire Blvd in front of a jewelry & pawn shop he owned.
