823 GSC or GS9 / G Stone Crips / Getting Straight Cash is a Crip gang located mostly in Brooklyn, New York.
823 GSC is a little different from the Crips located in LA because they also use certain symbols that are similar to Chicago gang symbols.
The G Stone Crips enemies are a local gang known as BMW (Brooklyn's Most Wanted). The war was sparked in 2011 when a member of the BMW gang shot and killed the G Stone Crip's leader, Tyrese "Shyster" Gary. Following the death of Shyster, numerous shootings were linked to the war between the two gangs. In 2013, the NYPD claimed that it had eliminated the BMW gang by arresting all of their members on various charges. The GSCs other enemies include Bloods and the 6 The Outlaw Gangster Disciples GDs in Flatbush.
Famous 823 GSC Crips
Rapper Bobby Smurda, who became famous for his hit single "Hot Nigga" is an affiliate of the G Stone Crips. Shmurda is currently serving a sentence in Riker's Island.
